Weight Distribution System for Jeep Towing a Micro Minnie 2105FBS
Question:
We will be towing a Winnebago Micro Minnie 2106FBS with a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a v8. The Jeep has the tow package. The trailer has a GVWR of 7000. We want a 4 point sway bar hitch and the ability to reverse. Is this hitch the right one for us, or which hitch would you recommend?

The Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ37100ET may work for you but there are some things you need to know beforehand.
You will first need to know your total tongue weight (TTW), which is the tongue weight of your fully loaded and ready to go Winnebago Micro Minnie 2106FBS plus the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
The tongue weight is typically between 10% and 15% of your trailer's GVWR but you'll want to verify it by using a scale such as the etrailer scale # e99044 or by using one of the methods outlined in the help article on determining tongue weight I've linked for you. From there, simply add on the weight of the cargo behind the rear axle of your Jeep and you'll have your TTW. The ideal system would be one in which your TTW would fall somewhere in the middle of the weight distribution system's tongue weight capacity.
The Equal-i-zer # EQ37100ET you asked about has a total tongue weight capacity of between 600 lbs and 1,000 lbs. Based on the GVWR I found for the Micro Minnie of 7,000 lbs this system may not be enough, depending on how you load your Winnebago and how much weight is behind your Jeep's rear axle.
So you may need to go to the next available system, the Equal-i-zer # EQ37120ET, which has a total tongue weight capacity of between 800 lbs and 1,200 lbs. No matter which one you get it is recommended you use 1-7/8" thin walled socket # EQ70-00-4800; this will make the installation of the system's hitch ball much easier.
