Towing Capacity of a 2012 Ram 2500 Crew Cab Big Horn Short Bed
Question:
Just bought a 2012 Dodge ram big horn crew can with a 64inch bed that has a 6.7 high output cummins engine and a 3.42 gear ratio. What is the max towing capacity of it by hitch and 5th wheel hook ups.

According to the 2012 Ram towing guide the 2012 Ram 2500 Crew Cab, Short bed, "Horn" editions with 2-wheel drive have a max trailer towing capacity of 9,850 pounds. Models with 4-wheel drive have a max trailer towing capacity of 9,450 pounds.
