Length of Replacement 7-Wire to 6-Wire Coiled-to-Straight Cord
Question:
Ive got a down extension on my tow bar and the regular straight cord length was tight 6.5 ft one. Currently using a coiled one for extra length but would like to have one that fits in the channels of tow bar arm again. What is the length of the cord, and when extra length is needed and it uncoils, is there a possibility of the cord rubbing and cutting the wiring as the coil portion stretches through channel? Thanks,

Expert Reply:
The Replacement 7-Wire to 6-Wire Coiled-to-Straight Cord for Roadmaster Nighthawk Tow Bar # RM-1676-7 measures a total of 8' long. When extra length is needed and it uncoils it won't cut the wiring. The electrical cord is designed to protect the wiring and isn't going to uncoil and somehow damage it.
