Mounting Bracket for a 7-Way Trailer Connector on a 1999 Ford F-150  

Question:

i bought a hitch,brake switch and wire adapter/ for my 1999 ford f150 pick up truck i installedbrake switch , wirer adapter,and hitch wich fit perfect..but the mounting bracket pk12711u didnt fit for the 7 way plug..their was no spot on the bumper....it sat to high up under the bumper ..any suggestions..in video u show mounting on bottom of bumper..but my part their is just plastic not metal chrome..

What you can do is use a secondary bracket, like # C57202 for a long one, or # 18140 for a shorter one. These both attach to the cross tube of the trailer hitch. You would then attach the Pollak Mounting Bracket # PK12711U to the end. I have included a link to a video showing how the secondary bracket attaches to the hitch cross tube.
