Connecting 2 Batteries in Parallel with an Inverter to Power a Freezer in Back of a 2015 Ram 1500
Question:
I want to put 2 extra deep cycle 12v batteries in parallel in my pick up bed to power an inverter for my freezer, I think! And have my 7 blade run my travel trailer. Any suggestions? It is a short bed 2015 Ram 1500

Running 2 identical 12 volt batteries in parallel will produce 12 volts but double the amp hour capacity. Assuming your inverter runs off of 12 volt power then you will be good to go with this set up. Since the 2 batteries will be separate from the truck's electrical system you won't have to worry about any interference or over drawing the tow package wiring on your 2015 Ram 1500.
If you do not already have an inverter I recommend # WC3720 which is rated at 1000 watts and the AC outlets are rated at 115 volts.
