Trailer Hitch that Fits 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Platinum

Question:

Hi I saw that you do sell hitches for the pacifica hybrid Platinum However, when I requested help last year I was told that with the door open sensor a separate mount was needed and that installation was going to be billed to over $1200 labor alone. do you guys account for the rear sensor to open the door with a kick and do you have installers that would even install it in a hybrid? Thank you.

We do have a trailer hitch available for your 2017 Chrysler Pacifica hybrid that has the liftgate sensor.

The Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13383 is a confirmed fit for both the Platinum and Premium hybrid models and would work well. Basically you'd just have to kick to either side of the hitch opening to activate the liftgate. We don't have authorized installers through us, but for most situations we recommend finding a local mechanic with a good reputation in your area and have them complete the install. Hitch installs are pretty basic for qualified mechanics so you wouldn't need anyone specialized in anyway.
