Trailer Brake Controller Wiring Harness for a Tekonsha P2 and a 1997 Ford F-150
Question:
Is there a direct Plug to plug connsctor for a 1997 F-150 Extended cab Styleside with a 4.6L V8, or will I need the pigtail? The truck has a 7-pin connctor. I have Prodigy P2 Controller

There is a plug and play style connector that fits the Tekonsha P2, # 90885, and your 1997 Ford F-150 provided that the 7-Way trailer connector you have is from the factory. You would need Tekonsha Wire Replacement, # 3035-P. I have included a link to the installation details and a video showing a typical installation. The factory connection point on the truck will be located under the dash near the center console on most vehicles.
