Could 2 of Malone J-Pro2 Kayak Carrier with Tie-Downs # MPG117MD Plus Third Dockgrip Fit on Bars
Question:
Can the J-Pro racks one on each side of vehicle be safely secured on longer cross bars like the Malone 58inch Square Universal and attached and strapped down outside the roof side rails so there is room in the middle to slide in upside down a 3rd kayak on the roof cross bars? In videos I only see the J-Pro attached and straps secured inside the roof rails.

If you had a longer set of crossbars you could use two of the Malone J-Pro2 Kayak Carrier with Tie-Downs # MPG117MD on the outsides of the bars and then a third kayak in the middle with a carrier like the Thule DockGrip part # TH895.
