How to Change to Tow Mode with the Hopkins Smart Hitch # HM50002
Question:
I purchased the camera from you folks for last Christmas. I thought everything was working fine but I only have the everyday mode display and the lines only stay on for a few seconds. I cant seem to find the hitch mode. Ive tried reset, etc. Do I need to do something else or is it the unit?

To activate the tow mode on the monitor of the Hopkins Smart Hitch # HM50002 you need to press "IN" on the side button and then press up or down on the bottom to activate the hitch mode from "OFF" to "ON". This is the same process to switch back to Everyday Mode.
If you have tried this and it isn't working correctly then it could be the unit. The question now would be if it has always acted like this or if something changed in your setup and is now causing this.
Let me know if this doesn't help what may have changed and I can help you troubleshoot further.
