The best way to get the tow bar level is with a high-low adapter, not a low hanging trailer hitch. This is going to improve ground clearance immensely which can be an issue on certain motorhomes. In order to determine the correct high-low adapter for your 2014 GMC Terrain you will need to measure from the ground to the center of the base plate kit on the vehicle and compare that distance to the measurement from the ground to the top of the inside edge of your trailer hitch on the motorhome. The difference between the above two measurements will give you the correct amount of rise/drop you will need to look for in a high-low adapter.
I have attached a help article that explains all of this in addition to our selection which you can use once you obtain the proper measurements. The trailer hitch I recommend for you is the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 41990-07. This hitch can either be welded or bolted. There is a version of this hitch available that contains taller brackets part # 41990-16 but again your best option is to use a high-low adapter.
