Recommended 5th Wheel Base Rails and Mounting Brackets for 2008 Chevy Silverado

Recently purchases 2008 Silverado Z71 with 6 1/2 bed. Can etrailer provide the necessary frame brackets to use my old hitch? I have traded trucks and want to reuse my Reese16K fifth wheel hitch from 2002 Silverado 2 whe

Absolutely!
In order for your existing Reese16K 5th Wheel Hitch # RP30051 to make the move over to your new 2008 Silverado you just need a set of base rails and mounting brackets. For your truck I recommend the Reese Quick-Install Custom Installation Kit # RP50064-58. This kit includes custom brackets that will use existing holes in your truck's frame so you won't have drill into it during installation. The industry-standard, above-bed rails will work perfectly for your Pro Series hitch.
