Question:

I have twin axles with a total weight rating of 12,000lbs. I currently have the sprinng leaf suspension placed over the axles. What do I need to do in order to lower my trailer? my axles are 3inch round.

In order to lower your horse trailer you are going to want to use the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit part # K71-385-00. This is the most cost effective and easy to install kit we have that will lower your trailer. It is also very popular and highly reviewed. It will lower the trailer the diameter of your axle (3") and height of your leaf spring stack so more than likely around 5-6".

I have attached a review video for you. The kit comes with everything you need.
