Troubleshooting LF Error on Lippert Ground Control Leveling System
Question:
I’m getting a LF Grounding message when trying to auto level on a Lippert system. It won’t allow manual leveling. Is there a simple fix? I have a feeling it is the wiring but before I crawled under to look, thought I’d ask.

The LF error on your Lippert Ground Control # LC358590 shows that there is an issue with the left front jack. Try manually extending that jack. Next extend all the jacks at least 6 inches an then press and hold the retract button until the jacks begin retracting. All of the jacks should fully retract and clear the error code. You should be able to auto level after that.
If your left front jack won't manually extend or retract, check that jack's wiring and the fuse located at the control module. You can also use a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to check the wires and make sure your ground connections are bare metal to metal without corrosion or debris. Sometimes a system won't work if the battery is even slightly depleted, so make sure your battery is charged fully when testing your system.
