I did check with Roadmaster and the Roadmaster EZ4 Base Plate Kit # RM-52297-4 that you referenced is only a fit for the sedan version of the Chrysler 200. It will not work with the 200 convertible.

At this time there is not a custom base plate kit available for your 2012 Chrysler 200 Convertible.

You may be able to go with a universal base plate kit like the Blue Ox # BX88230. Most bumpers do need to be reinforced or modified for proper installation, as the brackets need to mount to a flat metal surface.

For a tow bar the Blue Ox Alpha # BX7380 is a great choice and will work well. Its non-binding design makes for easy hookup and safety cables are included so they won't need to be purchased separately.

For a lighting solution I really like the Roadmaster Diode Kit # RM-15267. This lets you wire your Chrysler 200 so that it accepts the RVs tail, brake, and turn signals for flat towing. It includes a 6-Way connector that will mount to the front of the vehicle and enough coiled wiring to go from there to the 7-Way on your RV.

Then for a braking system, I highly recommend the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR. This is a great proportional system that will physically press down on the brake pedal in your Chrysler 200 at the same time and with the same intensity that you apply to them in your RV.

You may also need a high-low adapter to keep your tow bar level. I have attached an article that explains exactly how to choose the best one for your setup, along with a link that will take you to our available selection. I have also included a few video demonstrations on the products mentioned and an FAQ on flat towing that you might find helpful.

I do recommend checking your copy of the vehicle's owners manual for any guidelines or restrictions when it comes to towing your Chrysler 200 Convertible with all 4 wheels on the ground.
