How Much Shaft is Used When Installing Roller with Palnuts
Question:
1. How deep is the cap nut? In other words how much rod will be covered up by the cap nut? 2. What’s the best way to put the cap nut on the rod? Is the fit such that the cap nuts need to be lightly hammered onto the rod?

To give you an idea how much length of a shaft the # CE10801 takes up the part # CE10401G is a roller assembly that holds a 5 inch long roller and the shaft length is overall 6-1/4 inches. So that means you pick out the shaft length by adding 1-1/4 inches to the length of the roller you are using. This setup uses the same palnuts.
