Replacement Axle for Harbor Freight Trailer

Question:

Planning on using a HD harbor freight trailer 4ft by 8ft for the base and I have some chevy 5 lug 4.53 inch or 115 mm High Positive Offset rims I wanna use. My question is what axle and hubs should I use, and possible spacers for hight? Any help is greatly appreciated.

In order to choose the correct replacement axle, you will need to know the dimensions of your current axle's hub-face to hub-face and spring center to spring center as in the diagram I have added; the other thing you would want to know is the weight capacity of the axle you need.

I've added a link to our selection of axles for you to check out, or if you get back to me with that information I'd be happy to try and find something that will work for you. The hubs will depend on the spindle that the axle has, though it is highly unlikely your Chevy 5 lug will work; I've added a link to a help article on determining the bolt pattern of a wheel for you to check out.
