Troubleshooting Trailer Wiring Where 12 Volt Accessory Circuit Isnt Active
Question:
for some reason my seven ways connector works except when I try to lift the jack and I connected my extra battery but do nor receive charge

It's not uncommon for a 7-way trailer wiring connector to not have the 12 volt circuit active. Sometimes this is just due to a bad fuse or breaker which you can check under the hood of the vehicle. Other times you have to run a 10 gauge wire like # 10-1-1 from the positive post of the 7-way through a breaker like part # 9510.
