Reason for Number of Bolts Needed to Install Torklift Hitch part # 306-X7192 on 2014 Toyota Prius V
Question:
I want to upgrade the hitch on my prius v to a 2 inch receiver. I saw the image that had multiple bolts. What are the extra bolts for? Meaning, 4 bolts hold the hitch to the frame, what are the rest for? I installed my current hitch myself, so I am familiar on how to do it, concerned what the extra bolts are for.

There are some shackle straps that have to be used when installing the Torklift Hitch part # 306-X7192 on your 2014 Toyota Prius. This means that a few extra bolts need to be used. I attached a picture I took from the install instructions that shows what I am referring to.
