Will an Aftermarket Trailer Hitch Install Behind the Bumper Cutout on a 2016 Honda Pilot

Does this fit behind the removable cover in the bumper? If no is there one that does? Seems like that should be easy to do

The factory trailer hitch is the only option that allows for the receiver tube opening on a trailer hitch to exit out of the rear bumper cutout for a 2016 Honda Pilot. The factory trailer hitch is also going to be far from cost effective so if it does not bother you to have the receiver tube hang down below the bumper (see photo) then the etrailer.com Trailer Hitch Receiver part # E98840 is a great option for you. It will also be much easier to install than the factory trailer hitch and it will not require any drilling or cutting.
If you have a full size (over 18") spare tire then it will need to be removed in order to install an aftermarket trailer hitch. If you can tell me what you will be using the trailer hitch for then I would be happy to offer some additional recommendations for you. I have attached an install video for you as well.
