For your 2017 Airstream Bambi Sport 16 trailer, I recommend the Reese Strait-Line Weight Distribution System w Sway Control - Trunnion Bar # RP66082 This system is rated for total tongue weights between 200 and 600 lbs, so your completely loaded trailer tongue weight and any weight behind the rear axle of your Canyon will easily fit within this system.
This system has dual cams and hot-rolled spring bars that keep your trailer tracking behind your vehicle and the constant tension prevents sway from crosswinds, passing motorists, and will also help you track around corners. This will greatly reduce the possibility of a trailer accident because losing control is the biggest reason for that.
You will need a hitch ball for this system. I recommend the 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # A-6 for your trailer.
