Is There a 1-1/4 Hitch Rise for a Bike Rack

Question:

I cant tell from your specs if you have a riser that plugs into a 1.25inch and gives you a 1.25inch hole higher up. Most of the ones Ive seen on line have been 1.25inch to 2, and thats no help. I have a low riding car and I need the bike rack not to bottom out.

I do have an option for you but we do not carry any hitch adapters that will provide a rise and fit your 1-1/4" receiver tube opening. The only option would be to purchase a new bike rack that has a raised shank built-in so you do not need to worry about an adapter. An adapter would also decrease the tongue weight capacity of your trailer hitch by 50% which would also be an issue.

Instead, I recommend the Swagman XC 2-Bike Rack Platform Style part # S64650 as it has a built-in 4" shank rise so ground clearance should not be an issue. It is also class I rated and has a folding designed to allow for access to the rear cargo area on your vehicle. I have attached a review video for you.
