Can the Rear Hatch of a 2016 Kia Sorento Be Used with the Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top

I understand this bike rack Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top 3 Bike Rack for Vehicles w/ Spoilers - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms is compatible with my SUV KIA Sorento 2016 SX, but can I open my trunk without removing this?

A trunk mounted bike rack such as the Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top part # HRF2-3 for your 2016 Kia Sorento cannot be left installed while the rear hatch/trunk is opened. This is the case for all trunk mounted bike racks due to both weight and clearance restrictions. In order to open the rear hatch on your Sorento with a bike rack installed you will need to install a trailer hitch like the Trailer Hitch Receiver part # E98843 and hitch mounted bike rack with a tilt/swing feature like the Kuat Transfer 3 Bike Platform Rack part # KU24FR.
