Can a 2015 Dodge Dart 2.0 Be Flat Towed?
Question:
I need to know if I buy this Dodge Dart - SX, Automatic, which has a 2.0 engine. Will I be able to tow it behind a RV ??

Expert Reply:
A 2015 Dodge Dart 2.0L Automatic is not towable without a trailer. It cannot be towed using a tow dolly either. The good news is if you get the manual transmission instead of the automatic it will be flat towable behind a RV. If you go that route, I recommend the following parts:
Roadmaster EZ2 Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-52294-1
Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar - 6,000 lbs # RM-520
Coiled Safety Cables # RM-643
Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267
(Note:Some models of this vehicle may use Mortorq® fasteners. If your vehicle has these types of fasteners, you will need a PFMTS2E bit to remove them which can be ordered through a Snap-On dealer.)
SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # SM99251
Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400
You will also need a high-low adapter. I've attached some article to further assist.
