Fitting a Thule Hitch Mount Bike Rack for 1-1/4 Inch Hitches in a 2 Inch Hitch
Question:
Hi There, I have a Thule hitch bike rack, I have had for years and used on my 1.25 inch Mazda Tribute. Now I have the F-150 and it has the 2 inch opening. Can I use this adapter to continue using my bike rack?

The replacement shank adapter, part # 853-7292 you referenced, works on the Thule RidgeLine and both the 2-bike and 4-bike versions of the Roadway. All of which have been discontinued but if either are the rack you have then it will work for you.
If not, let me know what rack you have and I'll see if we have anything that works. If it's easier just reply back with a picture of your rack.
