How to Identify Correct Replacement Wheel Bearings for EZ-Loader Boat Trailer
Question:
I need to replace wheel bearing on my EZ Loader boat trailer, can I get the proper replacements by using the trailer VIN number or do I need to remove the bearings? I bought the trailer brand new.

A trailer component as specific as a wheel bearing will not be indicated in a trailer's VIN. The information provided by the VIN is more general and you can refer to the linked photo for an example. You may be able to get this from EZ-Loader with the VIN but we have no way to look up bearings based on that.
Unless you can find the bearing numbers in the trailer's documentation I suggest just pulling one hub to find those numbers on the original parts. This is the most sure way to know what to order. The photo included for you shows the usual appearance of the bearing numbers. As an example, bearing parts like # L44643 and # L44649 are commonly found on 2K axles.
If you know the axle diameter and weight capacity you can at least narrow down the possibilities by using the linked article. This article lists the most popular bearings and related parts based on axle weight rating and diameter. Once you know the bearings you need you can enter that info into our search box.
I also linked two articles to help you with the process of installing the new bearings. Once covers the process and the other covers the subject of the different types of grease formulations. Some formulas of grease will be compatible with others but some are NOT compatible, so you'll want to select suitable grease or be sure to remove all old grease when you lube and install the new bearings.
