Does Fascia on 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude Need to be Altered to Install Curt # C13182

Question:

Will this hitch fit my vehicle without cutting the rear bumper? I know I’ll need to go to the factory and get the wiring harness installed.

When we installed the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13182 on a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee we did not have to trim any fascia (see attached photo and video). I am not sure if the trim on an Altitude is much different than the Laredo but I can say that it doesn't look like you will need to. You can check out the attached installation video to confirm.

If you have the tow package then you can just install the Curt T-Connector # C55774 which gives you a 7-Way and a 4-Way connector, but if not then you will need to get your wiring installed at the dealer since we don't have wiring as of July 2018.
