Converting Demco Underbed Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch to Fit Ford Factory Pucks

I have a 2016 F-250 with the Demco under bed rails 8551000 and a Demco 18K hitch 8550022. Im looking at getting a new truck with the Ford factory rails. Can I change out the side plates of my hitch with the DM6033 and have it fit directly into the Ford pucks?

I spoke with my contact at Demco regarding your Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # DM8550022. He stated that the Replacement Side Plates # DM6033 is exactly what you need to convert the hitch so that it is compatible with the Ford factory puck system. This kit is all that you would need to make this conversion and once installed, you will be able to drop the hitch down right into the factory pucks, without the need for any additional parts or adapters.
