Using Reese Custom Wedge for Husky 5th Wheel Hitch with Lippert Turning Point
Question:
With this wedge work on a turning point kingpin? The universal one that came with the reflection 150 doesn’t work that great with the Husky hitch.

Expert Reply:
The Reese Custom Wedge # SWW-04 for your Husky fifth-wheel hitch is designed for the Reese Sidewinder king pins but it should also work well on your Lippert Turning Point. The Sidewinder and Turning Point feature the same basic design and we have even had customers come back and say the Sidewinder wedges worked perfectly with the Turning Point (I have attached a customer review from a different model Reese custom wedge). They have simply not been officially tested together so we cannot confirm a fit.
The custom wedge will certainly provide an upgrade over the universal wedge that you have in terms of its fit with your Husky hitch.
