For your 24 foot enclosed trailer, the photo shows only a pole tongue and not an a-frame. If this is correct, you can use the Pole-Tongue Adapter for Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Systems - 14,000 lbs GTW, 1,400 lbs TW # EQ95-01-5950 with an Equal-i-zer weight distribution system.

Another option is the Reese Pole-Tongue Adapter for Weight Distribution Systems - 7,500 lbs GTW, 750 lbs TW # RP3280 which is compatible with many different systems that have sway control integrated.

When you mention the extension of 1 foot, you will need to ensure your extender is rated for use with weight distribution systems as many are not, but a longer weight distribution shank and the weight distribution head will change the distances as well.

I've attached an article on weight distribution systems to assist. If you have an aluminum trailer, you need to check with the manufacturer before using a weight distribution system as some aluminum frames are not made to accommodate a WD system.

Another option for just sway control that is compatible with aluminum trailers is the Tuson Electronic Sway Control System for Electric Trailer Brakes # 335TSC-1000 which utilized the electric brakes to control sway. I've attached a video review of this product for you to check out.
