Brake Controller Install Harness Recommendation for 2012 Ram 1500  

Question:

the plug for a brake controller has 4 wires, one is white with a purple stripe, one is black with a green stripe, one is yellow with a red stripe, and the last one is green. which ones do i connect to my controller? my brake controller has no plug. 2012 Dodge ram 1500

For installing a brake controller like our best selling P3 part # 90195 in a 2012 Ram 1500 you'd only need the install harness part # 3021-P which plugs right in to the port on your truck.

If you are trying to hardware it to your truck after removing the connector the best option I have would be to check out the picture I attached and match the colors by pin location relative to the picture.
