Can I Use HR79 Brake Assembly with 02475 OB if Fifth Wheel has 14125A Bearings and a #42 Spindle

Question:

From my research on Kodiaks web site I found that the HR712 is for 7K Axles 1/2 inch studs with #42 spindle. The HR79 is for 7K Axles 9/16 inch studs with #42 spindle. There appear to be only a couple of differences between the two models. HR712 has the outer bearing # 14125A while the HR79 has the outer bearing # 02475. The studs are 1/2inch and 9/16inch respectively. HR712 is grease only lubrication while HR79 is grease or oil bath. My primary concern is that there is a slight difference in the outer bearing one from the other. The ID for each outer bearing is 1.25inch However, the width of the 14125A bearing cone is 0.771 inches while bearing 02475 bearing cone width is 0.875 inches. I have not pulled the bearings on my fifth wheel yet to identify which outer bearing is used but I am fairly certain it is the 14125A. The axles are Lippert 7K axles. My question is, would there be any issues with using the HR79 brake assembly with the 02475 outer bearing if my fifth wheel has the 14125A bearings and a #42 spindle? I am wanting to move to disc brakes on the coach and would prefer to have the oil bathinch option if the K2HR79 will fit my axles without issues

I reached out to my contact at Kodiak and they advised me that the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit 7,000 lbs # K2HR712D takes ½” studs only. When you go to 9/16” studs, the 7k axle kit # K2HR79DS comes with an 8K hub that takes that only takes the # 02475 bearing. Because you cannot fit 9/16” or 5/8” studs in a 7K hub Kodiak switches it to a 8 K hub. The 6K, 7K, and 8K spindle is the same spindle, the only difference is the outer bearing changes.
