Will a Wiring Harness Extension Work with the Curt Vehicle Wiring Harness Part # C55372
Question:
I installed the Curt Trailer Wiring Kit on my 2002 Suzuki Vitara. Trailer wires for the lights work fine when directly connected to the kit however, I need an 18+ extension because of the added length of my hitch. I have attempted a number of 4-Flat extensions with limited success. Any recommended 18+ 4-Flat extensions for the Curt Trailer Wiring Kit?

The 4-way wiring harness extension I recommend for the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # C55372 on your 2002 Suzuki Grand Vitara is the Hopkins Endurance Easy-Pull 4-Flat Extension part # HM47004 which measures 24".
I reached out to my contact at Curt and they stated that you should have absolutely no problems using this extension with your wiring harness. If you do have troubles please let me know what those are and I would be happy to offer additional advice.
