How to Make Installing Spring Bars of Weight Distribution System Easier
Question:
I purchased and installed Husky Item # HT32218. So far its been great very little to no sway. My only issue is the Trunnion bars once removed from the L brackets or even getting them over to the brackets to install are extremely hard to move. I literally have to kick them close enough to get them on yank like a SOB to get them away from the brackets to remove them from the head. Why are they so tight and what is the cure? Thanks,

Are you using your trailer jack to help with the install/removal of the weight distribution system? What works the best is if you connect coupler to the hitch ball and then use the trailer jack to raise the rear suspension of the tow vehicle so that the bars can be lifted onto the L-brackets without having to fight the spring bar tension.
