Taskmaster Wheel Compatibility with Tires Requiring 110 PSI
Question:
Is it rated for a G rated tire requiring 110 psi
asked by: Dennis H
Expert Reply:
The Taskmaster Steel Modular Trailer Wheel - 16" x 6" Rim - 8 on 6-1/2 - Silver # TA55VR is rated for hire tire pressures. However, if you will be using load range G tires, you could upgrade to metal valve stem # AM20906 to be safe.
The Load Range G wheels compatible are the Provider ST235/85R16 Radial # TTWPRG235R16 and Provider ST235/80R16 Radial # PRG80235. Both are rated for speeds up to 81 mph and have a 2 year warranty. Then there is also the Westlake ST235/85R16 Radial # LHWL410 rated for a max speed of 75 mph but with a 5 year warranty and 2 years roadside assistance.
