Is There a U-Bolt Kit for a 2-1/2 Inch Diameter Trailer Axle

Question:

I am looking for a 1/2x2.5x5inch u-bolt for an axle. Do you have anything that would work? I see the 2 3/8inch ubolts but dont think theyll get around the axle. Thanks.

I believe I have the correct u-bolts for you but 2-1/2" is a very uncommon axle diameter. If you have a 3,500 axle then the diameter will be 2-3/8", not 2-1/2". I recommend remeasuring with either a digital caliper like part # PTW80157 or a soft tape measure and using the formula (C = 2pr).

If the axle diameter then turns out to be 2-3/8" then I recommend the U-Bolt Kit part # APUBR-1. Unfortunately, we do not have any round u-bolts that are 2-1/2" wide.
