Bike Rack Recommendation that Wont Block 2018 Ford Escape Backup Camera and Looks Really Cool
Question:
looking for a 2 bike platform hitch rack for my 2018 ford escape titanium with back up camera. can you suggest a few that might not block my camera but also look really cool? one bike has 3 inch fat tires and the other one has 4 inch fat tires. cruisers thank you

I will be happy to make some recommendations for you. But keep in mind that any loaded bike rack is going to block the view of the backup camera on your 2018 Ford Escape. But there are some great options that will only sort of block the view when they are not loaded.
I recommend taking a look at the following bike rack combination:
Kuat Transfer # KU74FR
Phat Bike Adapter # APBK
This rack has a u-shaped frame and since the backup camera on the 2017 Ford Escape is in the middle of the rear hatch above the license plate this is the best bike rack design if you don't want to block the view.
But if either of the bikes has a front fender over the tire then these racks will not work. In that situation I recommend taking a look at the Saris Freedom # SA4412B-FB which hold the bikes at the frame.
If you do not already have a trailer hitch on your Escape I recommend etrailer hitch # e98866. This is a Class III hitch with a 2 inch receiver.
