Voyager Side Body Observation Camera Suitable for Custom-Painting
Question:
Re: Voyager Right Side Super CMOS Color Side Body Observation Camera. One is white and the other gray primer. I have to paint these to have them match the RV. Can I paint over the white housing or do I need to buy the grey primer? Why is the primer gray more expensive than the white painted one? Thanks.

Expert Reply:
If you wish to custom-paint the Voyager camera you want to use the grey primed version # VCMS12RGPR so that the custom paint will adhere properly. The pre-painted version will not take your paint as well as the primed one.
This one costs more because it is made in smaller quantities that the pre-painted model # VCMS12RWTR.
