Replacement Hydraulic Brakes for Pop-Up Camper
Question:
The only thing we see different is the springs. Your application now has one spring under the wheel cylinder going side to side, and the springs that hold the shoes in place to the backing plate. Other wise I think your product will work. Unless you tell us otherwise? All of our size match-ups are the same. You tell us.... Tks in advance

Brakes like the Dexter # 23-398-399 that are rated for 2,500 lbs have the capacity to work with 1,800 lb axles, but to get the right brakes you'll need to know your brake's mounting flange bolt pattern as well as your drum diameter. The aforementioned Dexter brakes will work if your trailer has a 4-bolt mounting flange and your drum is 7" diameter x 1-3/4" wide.
I have added a link to a help article for you to check out what you need to know to add hydraulic drum brakes to your trailer which should be useful.
