Troubleshooting Replacement Control Module and Motor for Lippert Electric Coach Steps

Question:

2011 TIFFIN BUS - COACH STEPS I REPLACED THE MODULE AND THE MOTOR. WHEN I UNPLUG THE MODULE AND PLUG IT BACK IN IT CYCLES OUT BUT WONT COME BACK IN. THE MOTOR ONLY RUNS ONE WAY, WHEN I TAKE THE MOTOR OUT AND PUT POWER TO IT ,IT WILL RUN BOTH WAYS.

If you installed the Replacement Motor # LC301695 and Replacement Control Module # LC301702 for your Lippert Electric Coach steps and the motor is only running one way, it sounds like there may be a wiring disconnect somewhere in the module, so I have added a cutout of the directions showing how it needs to be wired. The other possible issue is a dirty or corroded ground lug which may need to be cleaned, as you can see in the troubleshooting section I've added.
