Weight Distribution System Compatibility with Propane Tank Location on Airstream Trailer
Question:
I have a new Airstream and because of the box around the propane tanks, the brackets sit too far back for my e2round bar system. Can I buy longer bars or do I need to change out the entire system? I cannot move the brackets closer than 27.5 inches from the ball which leaves only an inch or so of bar on the back side of the pin.

The Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control # FA92-00-1000 is designed to have the brackets positioned between 27 and 30 inches back from the center of your coupler or hitch ball.
It sounds like the bars are not working, so you may want to consider a system like the Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control - Clamp On # BXW0750 that uses brackets positioned 29 inches back from the hitch ball. For the hitch ball you will want either # A-90 for a 2 inch ball or # 19286 for a 2-5/16 inch ball.
