Replacement Rubber Plug for EZ Lube Spindles

Question:

I measured the inside diameter of the hub. It is 1.982 inches. I try and find a 2 inch hub cap on you site. In case I cannot, do you sell a 2 inch ez grease hub cap?

I do have an option for you but the Rubber Lube Plug part # DC-RP that you purchased is designed to fit a 1.18" diameter opening and will not work for you assuming the plug you measured is indeed 1.5" diameter. Instead, the better option for you would be to replace the entire grease cap. This way you get a brand new seal and will not have to worry about the rubber cap falling out or not working.

In order to recommend the correct grease cap we would need to know the diameter of where the grease cap installs on the hub measured to the nearest thousandth of an inch with a digital caliper. You can also measure the grease cap you have now. Once you know the grease cap measurement you can take a look at the selection I have attached for you.

In order to replace the grease caps on your trailer hubs you will want to use the Grease Cap EZ Lube Drive in with Plug part # RG04-040. These grease caps are designed specifically for trailer's with EZ lube axles and they have a 1.99" outer diameter (O.D.) which should be an exact match for your trailer hubs.
