Recommended 7-Way Extension to Prevent Connection with Trailer from Unplugging During Turns

Question:

The wire going from my camper to my truck when towing plugs in fine. However it is really tight when making a right hand turn and it pulls out. Is there a simple way to extend the wire about a foot? What product and or method would you recommend.

It sounds like you just need a bit of extension for the 7-Way on your truck. I recommend taking a look at the TorkLift Wiring Harness Extension # TLW6021. This will plug right into the 7-Way on your truck and provide you with a 21 inch extension and an RV/trailer style 7-Way at the other end. This may be a bit longer than what you are needing, but it is the shortest such extension we currently have available.

I have attached a video demonstration on this harness that you can also check out.
