The etrailer.com Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver # E98840 referenced in your question is confirmed to fit your 2017 Honda Pilot.
In order to mount a 7-Way round connector to this hitch, you can use the Pollak Mounting Bracket # PK12711U. This bracket includes the needed hardware to install the bracket directly to the hitch crosstube. You can also add the No-Drill Bracket # C57202 to it for a no-drill installation.
I have attached a short video demonstration so you can see exactly how these two parts will work together on your hitch.
Then for a 7-Way harness that is confirmed to fit your 2017 Honda Pilot, I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118286. This will install by simply plugging into the factory port located behind the rear bumper of your vehicle. Once this connection is made, you will need to insert the included fuses into the fuse panel as indicated in the instructions.
I have attached an installation video that you can use for reference.
