Troubleshooting Ultra-Fab Electric A-Frame Jack
Question:
Hi, I have only used my jack about 6 times and it blew a fuse today. I remember hearing something when I was hooking up to leave camp and I thought I had just retracted it too far. When I got home to unhook, it was dead. The 30 amp fuse was blown. I also could not get the manual crank to work. Can Retracting the Jack to far blow a fuse? Thanks.

Expert Reply:
The Ultra-Fab Electric A-Frame Jack # UF38-944017 shouldn't blow a fuse from retracting too far. The fact that you can't use the manual crank to free up the jack shows that something internally has been damaged. This should fall under your warranty because this came with a 2 year manufacturer warranty that 6 time use should fall well within.
