Weight Distribution Hitch Recommendation for 2014 Keystone Bullet 22 RBPR

Question:

Hello my name is Ed and i wanted know what model of weight distribution hitch would be right for my truck and the trailer that I want to pull. I have a 2016 Chevy Colorado Z71 4x4, witch has ta tow rating of 7000 lbs. and I am looking to buy a 2014 Keystone Bullet 22 RBPR dry weight 4972 max losd rate of 6500 lbs. I was considering the E2 FA94-00-0800 that has sway control. would that be a good fit for my truck and trailer? Thanks

The best way to pick out a weight distribution system is to base it off of the loaded tongue weight of the setup when it is loaded and ready to tow. This figure also includes the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. I attached a help article on determining tongue weight for you to check out as well. You will want the loaded tongue weight of your setup to fall right in the middle of the tongue weight range of the system you use.

The Fastway weight distribution system part # FA94-00-0800 that you referenced has a tongue weight range of 400 to 800 lbs which would be a great match for your trailer based on the weights you listed. To install the hitch ball will require a thin walled socket like part # EQ70-00-4800. For a hitch ball you'd want the part # A-90.
