Wire Functions for Replacement Tail Lights for a 1976 Chevy C10 Pickup
Question:
Im trying to find the color diagram to hook up my rear lights on my 76 c10 pick up. I understand the color coordination from the factory harness but the new lights only have 3 wires, a white ,red, and brown. How do I wire this up so that my lights brakes and turn signals work?

Helpful Expert Reply:
I do not know which lights you have but based on the colors you have provided it is likely that the white wire is ground, red is for turn signal/brake lights, and brown is for running lights. The wire functions also might be listed on the back of the light housing.
