Replacement Jack for Lippert Electric Ground Control TT Travel Trailer Leveling System
Question:
You show that part # LC285318 is the same as my Lippert tongue jack with a sticker giving part No. 1817941. This unit on etrailer is shown as having only a power lead. My trailer is equipped with a lippert leveling system. There are many more wires between it and the trailer. Can I simply disconnect those wires from within the old jack's cover and replace them onto the same location on the new jack? Stupid me drove off with the old jack down.

I believe the leveIing system you have is the Electric Ground Control TT Automatic 5-Point Travel Trailer Leveling System # LC672136, based on the model jack you said it had.
I spoke with a representative of Lippert who said that Lippert Electric Trailer Jack # LC285318 can be used as a replacement for the damaged jack from the leveling system; additionally, he told me that you would be able to disconnect the wires from the original jack and re-wire them onto the same location of the replacement jack.
