Will Thule ProRide Roof Bike Rack Fit Factory Crossbars on Subaru Forester

The Thule ProRide XT Roof Bike Rack # TH598004 referenced in your question is indeed compatible with the factory crossbars on your 2017 Subaru Forester. I confirmed this with Thule. This is a really nice frame-mount carrier that will let you carry 1 bike of up to 44 pounds. It features a padded clamp that will grab the bike by its downtube and a torque-limiting dial that prevents over-tightening.
I do recommend adding the Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders # TH450200 to secure the rack and your bike to help deter theft.
