Trailer Wiring Recommendation for 2013 BMW X1
Question:
Item # C13140 Hi there, Im from a shop in California. We have a customer who wants to do a trailer hitch on his 13 X1. I noticed there was nothing on this kit with regards to necessary electrical components for brake lights. is that a seperate kit? and if so how much?

For a 2013 BMW X1 we do have a trailer wiring harness that we've had the chance to install and it worked well. You'd want the ZCI 4-Way kit part # 119250KIT which is a universal kit but uses sensors instead of splices which makes for a way less invasive install. Check out the install video I attached to this page to see exactly how it installs on a 2013 X1.
This kit covers the brake lights as well as the turn signals and running lights.
