What are the seals made of, Can I use withe lithium grease to lubricate them?

Instead of using a grease to install the Replacement Seals # T1003-7VP I recommend using mildly soapy water. Certain grease types can degrade some rubber materials so not only will you be ensuring that the seals remain intact, the soapy water will evaporate so that the seals don't have anything in between them and your valve connections.
